“I was teaching a workshop and this was the location for the day. I did a quick demo around nine in the in the morning for the participants. We wrapped up the day around five. I packed up my gear, I looked at the peak bathed in the evening light and I could not just walk away from the scene. Quickly I unpacked, set up my easel and painted a 8X10 of the last light of the day. This painting is the result. Hence the title Working Late.” –John Budicin
