Terry DeLapp  1934-2020

Born in 1934 in Pasadena, California, Terry Delapp created serene and introspective paintings that evoke a deep sense of contemplation. His works draw viewers into a peaceful, momentary stillness, inviting quiet reflection. Through his neo-tonalist style, Delapp captured the vanishing landscapes of California, using patterns of color and pyramid-like structures to symbolize the disappearing natural beauty not only in California but across the American continent. His emotional connection to the California landscape resonates with the spirit of the early California Impressionists.
