Re-Wild

SOLD

A current trend in land management is ‘re-wilding’ where we let nature do it’s thing. This beaver pond is located in Marion, S.C. on private property and is in transition back to its natural state. In the painting you see lots of duck weed, cypress, and other trees in various states of decay and life. It is thought that the beaver is responsible for many of the wetlands we see in the lowcountry, and we are happy that these responsible land owners are allowing the come back of more natural spaces. (this also means less landscaping and chemicals, all good things)
