At least once a year we welcome Billyo O’Donnell to the Lowcountry for a painting extravaganza. This year he left us with seven incredible pieces painted in and around Charleston. While driving around McClellanville, Billyo was struck by how the light hit this old house. We are struck by how his technique allows us to feel how the wood is starting to warp in the long lazy humid days in the lowcountry.
