The lowcountry has so many untold stories, and many stories that have been written and inspired by the coastal environs. We love it when our artists take their cue from our literary history and create paintings for us. Edgar Allan Poe supposedly wrote Annabel Lee while enjoying the coastal air out on Sullivan’s Island. You may know him more for The Raven.
