A favorite of Mr. Fraser’s, this painting has been exhibited at The Gibbes Museum in Charleston, S.C. as well as the Telfair Museum in Savannah, Ga. It is also published in the University of South Carolina Press book Painting the Southern Coast, the Art of West Fraser.

Depicting the corner of Broad St. and East Bay, the painting depicts a typical afternoon with folks headed home from work and out for an evening stroll. You can also see a familiar face, Andre the Giant, made famous by another Charleston artist Shepherd Fairy.
