West Fraser often re-visits urban landscapes and creates paintings taking in different views. These paintings serve to record the changes in the neighborhoods as well as highlighting what might stay the same. This lively corner on Spring Street has seen a lot of change in the 15 years since West first painted the scene, but it remains a hub of the neighborhood even as the denizens of the area have changed.
