Many of Mary’s larger works start out as smaller studies–these are done to work out the composition as well as to see if it works the way she wants it too. This study made it too it’s final size, which now lives in Beaufort, S.C., and we are thrilled to have the study–perfect for those who do not have room for a larger piece.
