Springtime in Charleston!

There are many seasons that make up Springtime in Charleston–we start with camellia season, move on to azalea season, and then we are graced for a short period of time with the glorious lavender blooms of the wisteria vine (we also call this #wisteriahysteria), after that we move into jessamine season, and then as the weather turns hot we see the crepe myrtles begin to blossom.  All the while the marsh is beginning to green and shed its golden hues of fall to reveal the tender greens of spring.

Our May featured artist is Billyo O’Donnell, hailing from Missouri, travels to the Charleston area to paint for a few weeks with his friend West Fraser. They explore downtown as well as the surrounding area. For this exhibit we have seven new pieces from his most recent visit alongside paintings from West, Julyan Davis and Mary Erickson.

Opening May 6th 5-7pm. Join us to celebrate Springtime in Charleston!
