Not far from downtown Charleston along one of the branches of the Cooper River lays Kensington Plantation. A special place indeed. Up the River captures an early fall afternoon from the fishing dock. Although for many years Mr. Fraser strictly painted from life, these days he spends a little more time in the studio, this piece is a rare painting completed on location from life.
