The oak alleé can be found in many places across the South. It was the grand entranceway to many homes along the various rivers all over the Lowcountry. West Fraser uses his skill at capturing the light streaming through the many branches of the venerable live oak to invite you in to the painting to take a walk with him along the path delineated by the majestic trees.
