For the last decade, artist Mary Erickson has spent a month or so in Port Clyde, Maine where she hosts an artist retreat. During her time there she has befriended many of the Mainers in what is known to most artists as Wyeth Country. Not only is the landscape a daily inspiration, but being surrounded by the places that inspired an entire family of artists makes even the most unartistic of us wish they could paint!
