Lowcountry (Brock) Larson Paintings

It was our privilege to host artist Brock Larson for the opening of ‘Father and Son: Jeffrey and Brock Larson’ last weekend, and while they were here they took advantage of the Lowcountry sunshine to do a little outdoor painting.

Both Brock and Jeffrey teach full time in their atelier the Great Lakes Academy of Art located in Duluth, Minnesota so they took the occasion of their joint show to take a little spring break. The family–Jeffrey, Heidi, Brock, Emily and six month old Owen, spent the week on Kiawah Island enjoying the beach and sunshine as well as our Southern hospitality (read all the good food!).

At Helena Fox Fine Art, we have been privileged to have many of our artist come to visit and leave us with paintings they created while in town and Brock and Jeffrey Larson did not disappoint. Brock left us with three lovely small plein air pieces which are now on display in the gallery.
